Bridgestone Ireland was established in 1990 to distribute and market the Bridgestone product range in the North and South of Ireland.
The company has grown significantly in this time and is now the largest distributor of tyres on the island. Bridgestone Ireland is based in Balbriggan, County Dublin and holds 80,000 tyres in its state of the art distribution centre. This includes Bridgestone, Firestone, Dayton and First Stop brands and covers all product groups: car, van, 4x4, truck and bus, agricultural, motorcycle, off-the-road, industrial and implement tyres.
Among its experienced staff, Bridgestone Ireland employ technical, sales and marketing personnel to ensure a first class service to their consumer and commercial customers. Bridgestone distribute their tyres through a network of leading independent tyre dealers throughout the island operating under the First Stop, Truck Point and Agri Point banners.
Bridgestone Ireland continues to support the endeavours of individuals and groups in community's all-over Ireland. The highest profile of these is the hugely successful Bridgestone Food Guides, which has been credited with promoting Ireland's unique food culture at home and abroad.
Bridgestone Ireland is a direct subsidiary of the Japanese Bridgestone Corporation, the world's largest producer of tyres and rubber products.
